2 Thessalonians 3
5 – Love and Perseverance
5May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.
6 – Keep Away From Others Who Are Lazy
6In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle and does not live according to the teaching[a] you received from us.
14-15 – Do Not Associate With People Who Sin But Warn Him In Love
14If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of him. Do not associate with him, in order that he may feel ashamed.
15Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.
18 – Paul’s Distinguishing Mark In His Letters (Look Up King James Version)
18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
1 Timothy 1
8-11 – Law Is Good If Used Properly
8We know that the law is good if one uses it properly.
9We also know that law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious; for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers,
10for adulterers and perverts, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine
11that conforms to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.
15-17 – The Worst Of Sinners
15Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
16But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life.
17Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Timothy 2
1-2 – Pray For Everyone Even Our Oppressors
1I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone—
2for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
3-4 – God Wants All Men To Be Saved
3This is good, and pleases God our Savior,
4who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
11-12 – Women To Be Silent
11A woman should learn in quietness and full submission.
12I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she must be silent.
